|
These state cost-share Partners for Conservation (PFC) are available through the Illinois Department of Agriculture. Eligible practices include:
- Filter Strips
- Field Border Strips
- Pasture and Hayland Planting
- Critical Area Planting
- Grassed Waterway
- Terraces
- Water and Sediment Control Basin
- Grade Stabilization Structure

The goal of the CPP program is to reduce soil loss in the field down to the tolerable soil loss level ("T") for a given soil type. By working with the SWCD and following a conservation plan, these goals can be met. The benefit to the cooperator is cost-share assistance and control of erosion problems in the field. |
